How We Started
James spent over 15 years working as a piano technician before opening Keys & Co. in 2018. During that time, he saw how the piano buying experience had changed—big showrooms with commission-driven salespeople, online marketplaces full of questionable instruments, and families left confused about what to buy.
We wanted to offer something different: a place where you could take your time, ask questions without pressure, and trust that every piano on display had been properly prepared and honestly described.
Our showroom on Montpellier Parade is deliberately small. We don't try to stock hundreds of pianos—we keep around eight instruments at any time, each one chosen for its quality and value. This means we can give every customer our full attention, and every piano the care it deserves.

James has been working with pianos for over 20 years. As a qualified piano technician, he personally prepares every instrument in our showroom and provides tuning services for our customers.

Co-owner
Catherine manages the business side of Keys & Co. and ensures every customer feels welcome from the moment they step through the door. Her warmth and attention to detail make visiting our showroom a pleasure.
What We Believe
Quality over quantity. We'd rather have a small selection of excellent pianos than a warehouse full of mediocre ones. Every instrument we sell—new or pre-owned—meets our standards.
