Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keys & Co. website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing our products and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Keys & Co. provides the following services:
- Sale of new pianos (as authorised Yamaha and Kawai dealers)
- Sale of pre-owned and restored pianos
- Piano tuning and maintenance services
- Part-exchange services
Piano Sales
Pricing
All prices displayed on our website and in our showroom are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
Payment
We accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, and bank transfer. Full payment is required before delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Delivery
We offer free delivery within 30 miles of Harrogate. Delivery to addresses further afield can be arranged at an additional cost. Piano delivery is carried out by specialist handlers through our trusted partners.
Delivery dates are estimates only. While we make every effort to meet agreed delivery times, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Warranty
New pianos sold by Keys & Co. come with the manufacturer's warranty (typically 5 years for Yamaha and Kawai instruments). Pre-owned pianos are sold with a 12-month warranty covering defects in the instrument's mechanism, unless otherwise stated.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or failure to maintain the piano properly (including regular tuning).
Returns
Due to the nature of piano purchases, we do not offer a standard returns policy. However, if you have concerns about your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to discuss your options.
Pianos must be returned in the same condition as delivered. The buyer is responsible for return delivery costs unless the piano is found to be faulty.
Piano Tuning Services
Availability
Our tuning service is currently available to existing customers who have purchased a piano from Keys & Co. We serve the Harrogate area and surrounding regions.
Pricing
Standard tuning is £85 per visit. This includes tuning to concert pitch (A440), a general inspection, and minor adjustments. Additional repairs or significant work will be quoted separately.
Cancellation
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a tuning appointment. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
Part-Exchange
We offer part-exchange on pianos when purchasing a new or pre-owned instrument from us. The trade-in value is determined by our assessment of the piano's make, model, age, and condition.
Part-exchange valuations are valid for 14 days from the date of assessment.
